Wow, despite a somewhat challenging
summer weather wise we have had an
exciting and fun filled one both personally
and business wise.
We have enjoyed numerous RV’ing
trips with family and friends throughout
the entire lazy days of summer. With
destinations including some of our old
favourite spots plus some new found
favourites thanks to introductions by
friends.
As this issue is readying to go to press
we are preparing to spend the Labour
Day weekend as tourists in Victoria’s
beautiful inner harbour at West Bay
Marine Village RV Park, in the good
company of our family & close friends,
and take in the Victoria Blues Festival.
But… just because summer is slowly coming to an end it does not mean the end to the RV’ing season on Vancouver Island. It looks like we are going to be blessed with a nice long “Indian Summer” so we continue to look forward to “sneaking away” much more locally before the lure of the warmer weatherSouth starts to beckon.
On the business side of things we saw a little slower start to the season due to the lingering “spring showers” but that was more than made up for as soon as the sun started to peek through! Vancouver Island RV’ers are a dedicated and faithful bunch who were inspired by the first sign of sunshine and jumped at the great volume buys and special builds that Arbutus RV was able to take advantage of this spring with an exceptionally strong Canadian dollar.
